We are living in exciting times here at Bailey Street Furniture Group, particularly when it comes to products and our offering to the marketplace. Since we’ve embraced our journey as part of CROWD (being the 4^th company in terms of size within Group), we had the opportunity to reflect on who we are, what makes us stand out in the market, and how to be ready for the future.

This also gave us the opportunity to start working alongside our sister companies, sharing experiences, mutually understand different offerings and define what suits the needs of our clientele.

Today we are excited about introducing HITSA and their stylish product range.

Stylish Scandinavian design, lean and for the people

The value proposition behind HITSA is to supply and enhance urban spaces with high-quality furniture, ensuring attractive environments and good functionality for countless people.

The headquarters, located in Denmark, houses design, administration, steelworks, a carpentry workshop, and a powder-coating facility, allowing for complete control over the entire process from design to production.

Durability, resistance, and quality are often misused words in our industry but are certainly core characteristics of the HITSA products.

End users are always central to their thought process, aiming to create value for them. This is achieved through items that interact with their environment, fostering new urban spaces and ways to enjoy them (LINK is a prime example), or by engaging with landscapes in a straightforward manner.

Handcrafted wood and steel infused with passion form the foundation of every HITSA product.

A refined offering to customers

For the UK market, BSFG has chosen a selection of products that meet customer needs in terms of design, features, quality, and price. This range includes tables with benches, chairs, litter bins, and loungers, available individually or as sets.

The selection emphasises two core materials: FSC® Mahogany Wood and various steel types, including powder-coated hot-dip galvanised steel and Corten steel. Mahogany slats provide long-lasting durability, while Corten steel develops a natural protective layer against corrosion. Hot-dip galvanised options will be standard even for RAL-painted products, adding an extra layer of defence against environmental elements.

The design features clean lines and simplicity, reflecting a Scandinavian aesthetic. Shapes are predominantly linear, including rectangular, trapezoidal, and circular forms. Many elements can be combined to create a wide range of configurations, allowing for unique expressions that define and characterise urban spaces.

Picnic sets with tables, benches and loungers

COSI evokes a sense of solid, quiet strength, combining wood and steel through linear geometric principles. In contrast, LINN retains this simplicity but presents a more relaxed feel, featuring thinner slats that are vibrant in both appearance and appeal.

KLARA is designed to enhance high streets with its classy linear elegance. Meanwhile, FJORDPARK, true to its name, emphasizes nature and outdoor spaces, transforming anonymous areas into inviting spots for gathering, relaxation, and enjoyment.

MP enhances parks with a circular seat that wraps around trees, fostering a closer connection to nature. ADD PLUS brings together vibrancy, linearity, and movement through three different modules and a planter, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor settings!

Vibrant urban spaces

MOOVE is a classic bench reinvented with a rotationally moulded plastic design. Its vibrant colours can brighten urban spaces when arranged together, and it can be positioned on the ground with a backrest or flipped over to create a distinctive flat disc appearance.

LINK features a trapezoidal seat that incorporates a table into a single unit. Various sections can be combined to form circular shapes or an array of linear and angled configurations, enabling each urban space to develop its own unique character.

TERAS, with its welcoming design, is the perfect solution for communal seating, both indoors and outdoors.

Waste management and litter bins

EGEDAL is the ideal solution for elegant spaces: the linearity and precision of the wooden slats define its sophisticated appeal.

R STABIL reflects the Nordic spirit with its simple yet user-friendly, clean design.

Introducing over a dozen brand-new items in our catalogue is a great opportunity to better differentiate from the masses and stand out from the crowd (whilst being part of CROWD!).

HITSA street furniture in particular does complement our offering, particularly when it comes to picnic sets, in which the need for a fresh linear look is always welcome.

I am very excited about having a new rotationally moulded seat we can offer: I can see schools, waterfronts, playgrounds and parks as the perfect place for it to shine!

What makes me even more proud of having HITSA onboard, is their commitment to the quality and durability of their products.

I am sure landscape architects, building owners and contractors will appreciate these products as much as the end users which will benefit from them!
