Eastbourne Town Centre Redevelopment

Artform Urban Furniture Limited are delighted to announce that they have successfully secured the contract for supplying a combination of bus shelters and street furniture for the eagerly anticipated improvements to Eastbourne Town Centre.

The contract award follows a lengthy and detailed three year consultation and tender process, working directly with all stakeholders to achieve a cost effective solution whilst ensuring the products provided were of the highest quality, in terms of performance, durability and aesthetics.

Working with key partners Landscape Forms and Metalco, the specification of the award winning Metro 40 collection of street furniture, combined with the iconic Pensilis bus shelters, was approved by the design team and will be installed and completed by summer 2019. The scheme, a joint project between East Sussex County Council and Eastbourne Borough Council, is aimed at modernising the town centre, improving pedestrian conditions and attracting more visitors. The changes will also complement the redevelopment of the Arndale Centre in Eastbourne.
