Harris Seat Details

The Harris Seat with backrest is made up of two or three 7mm thick steel sheet supports, hot zinced with pre-drilled base plate for ground fixing with bolts (not supplied). The seat is made up of three 138 x 38mm section timber slats, with a double-sided outer strip in the same wood, fixed to the supports with countersunk screws and reinforced with pre-zinced steel brackets. The backrest can be single (on the 2m bench), double or off-set (on the 3m bench) and is made of two slats in the same type as the seat. All timber parts are double-coated: the first coat is a base insulating spray and the second finishing coat is a water-based varnish for outdoor use. All steel components are polyester powder coated. Harris is also available in corten steel.
